Can faith be acquired through organized religion? The simple answer is no. Real faith can only be acquired through real knowledge of all the Laws of God and the experience of them. The thorough experience of Creation and the knowledge of the Laws that guide the order gradually leads to the conviction of the Perfection and Wisdom of God. It is the conviction of the Perfection and Wisdom of God acquired through experience that leads to faith. It goes without saying that this can neither be acquired through learning at Colleges or through the dispensation of any Church. It is the inner personal experience of one's life that leads to it. For this each individual must walk his own path alone. He must acquire his own experiences and investigate the questions about life himself. What he hears and reads and then adopts as personal beliefs will do him no good. These will always remain foreign as he had not personally experienced these himself. It will always be the adoption of an alien volition. It will never be real to him. It serves no purpose either to imitate others. Each individual stands for himself and on his path through life will be led through experiences that will spiritually benefit him. He will be able to take these experiences with him when he passes on to the Beyond, which experiences help him to progress further upwards towards the height that is his goal. This is not to say that people may not go to Church. Some people need to go to Church. But they must also be able to pursue their own independent investigations of the questions about life. The great questions about who we are, where we come from and wither we go after death. They must be able to investigate in order to find answers to these questions. If in fact they exercise their intuitions, these questions will not leave them in peace until they have found answers to them. These must, however, be answers that leave no gaps and do not demand blind faith. Wherever this is demanded, there is no knowledge and consequently there can be no conviction that finally leads to faith. Did aliens build the pyramids? Please see Aliens What is the Holy Grail? Please see The Holy Grail Can super-humans be created through cloning? It depends on what is meant by super-humans? If by this is meant physically superior, then probably but more important questions are at stake here. Mankind for a long time has played with the idea of being able to breed superior human beings. In the early part of the last century we played with the idea of pre-natal education and so on and so forth. Now our attentions have turned to cloning. Mankind still only thinks in a one-sided manner. He uses only his intellect and as such is only able to see the earthly. Since he imagines that all he is is the physical body, he therefore directs his attentions and investigations in an entirely wrong direction. Just like his attempts at prenatal education failed, his attempts to "create" superior or replica human beings in the real sense will also fail. If man were the physical body then probably his attempts will meet with some kind of success. As it is however, man is spirit and the physical body is only a covering, an instrument that he needs for his journey on earth. All he will achieve is breed physical replicas of himself but never his "true self". The spiritual self can never be duplicated. Each human spirit is independent and unique. If he has a child that is similar to him in many ways then he has only attracted that human spirit to himself through the similar spiritual qualities that they both possess. It is on this basis that the child felt attracted to him and was able to incarnate as his child. The same will occur with cloning. He may be able to replicate his "physical self" but never his spirit. He will only be able to attract another human spirit to himself who has similar tendencies to him. Even this is not a foregone conclusion. The chances are that he will not be able to do even this as the woman who carries the child in the womb and also those constantly around her during pregnancy will have a say in providing the basis for an attraction of the soul. So his chances of even attracting a human spirit of similar qualities to himself are even less than if he had gone through the normal course because then he is more or less always in the vicinity of the prospective mother and can as such easily provide the basis for this attraction. As for the question of producing genetically superior human beings through some sort of eugenics, let it be said that what we need on earth are moral human beings. Positive eugenics will not serve to produce human beings with conscience and deep inner feeling. If anything, it will produce the opposite. It will only serve to attract such human beings who are spiritually inferior and who strongly populate the nearer surroundings of this earth. Just like cloning, only such spiritually inferior souls will joyfully take the opportunity provided. We thereby as we have done for centuries offer opportunities for souls who really are not meant to be here to incarnate and cause havoc. The direct result of this we see before us. All these have arisen through our lack of belief in God and our one-sided intellectual way of thinking. Since most human beings will not listen in any case, it is better to leave people to experience what they must. A cry of horror will be the end. As for manufacturing human beings for the production of organs for their siblings, let it be said that this does not even merit considering. The moral implications of this must be clear to anyone with a strong intuition. If a soul has incarnated with a disease, then it is what that child needs for its further advancement. All that the Laws of God requires of us is to give the normal care and love as we are able to. The threads of fate attaching to this child can only be redeemed in this way. The love and care that we give to this child will help alleviate its suffering and help it further in its ascent. We will also be helped through the love that we offer. What actually matters is not how long we live but how well. How well in the quality of love that we are able to offer our neighbours. That is what will help on our various journeys towards the Luminous Heights. What is the effect of breeding on mental health and what are the spiritual aspects of it?As a soul incarnates into the developing body during the middle of pregnancy, the mental attitude of the mother should change. It should change to reflect the kind of soul that has incarnated. In fact many mothers have noticed this. If an evil human spirit has incarnated, then the feelings of the mother will be that of apprehension and fear, in contrast to if a good soul has incarnated. This is the more reason why special attention and care should be paid by pregnant women as to whom they allow around them during this period. If these are evil, they can form the basis for the attraction of a similar evil human spirit. Now it is imperative that the prospective mother always keep a pure intuition and offer ardent prayers during this period so that a luminous soul can be attracted which is no longer as easy as it used to be. The good human spirits have withdrawn from the vicinity of this earth and it requires a serious earnest volition to attract them. The immediate surroundings of this earth is now populated mostly by evil inferior souls which the volition of mankind has helped to attract out of their dark realm. Of course if the parents themselves are not of the Light, then it makes no difference. They will mostly be able to attract souls of similar tendencies. There are so many other factors, however. Therefore, birth or breeding can either lead to oppression/depression or happiness depending as mentioned above on the incarnated soul. It goes without saying that over-breeding leads to severe deterioration of the woman's physical health and should not be encouraged. As for the general process and the spiritual aspects of birth itself, please read "In the Light of Truth, The Grail Message", the lecture "Birth". What is peace? How can it be brought about?Peace is the absence of conflict. The absence of conflict within oneself or between two people or generally speaking among mankind as a whole. It is obvious here the importance of the role that the individual has to play. If the individual is at peace with himself, then he will also be at peace with his neighbour and by extension the whole of society. The lack of spiritual knowledge is what has led to the chaos and conflict that we see before us today. If it had become clear a long time ago that the purpose of life was not the acquisition of material wealth or honours, then mankind would not have sought to exploit his neighbour in the pursuit of these goals. The lack of this knowledge of who he is and what the purpose of life is, is the sole cause of the disaster on earth today. The very fact that the vast majority of mankind directs their gaze solely to this earth without any other thought of an afterlife makes it easier for them to disregard the conscience, since according to contemporary opinion “You only live once.” This view is what is driving most human beings to behave in the way they do. After all, who is to hold them responsible for their thoughts and deeds. When you die it is all over. The lack of penetration of spiritual knowledge over thousands of years has allowed exactly the opposite to develop as far as human behaviour is concerned such as for example place hunting, jostling for power, desire to dominate and all else. These jostling for power and desire to dominate if resisted then leads to other evils such as murders, wars and so on. The desire of men to satisfy women and to accumulate earthly treasures for her sake is what at the very beginning led to the direction of our gazes away from the Luminous Heights. The desire to win the earthly love of the woman, which was also encouraged by her because they now through this became the focus of man’s whole life led men into thinking only in a materialistic way. This materialism, which started this way led to acquisitiveness which in turn led to greed. Greed became avarice leading to murder, wanting to dominate and so on. This then became a propensity, and having cut off the spirit and as such the conscience that comes with this, it was then easier for us to kill and murder in order to acquire whatever we have set our minds to acquire. We would never then allow anything to stand in our way. We would kill, subjugate, enslave to achieve and satisfy our desires no matter what these were. We must realise that what started with the fall of woman in her attempt to use her charms to direct the gaze of man onto herself instead of towards the Luminous Heights has now grown to unbelievable and unpredictable proportions. The fall of woman was therefore crucial. Her special talent was to be used to stimulate man so that he would go out into the world and transform it, turning his gaze to the Luminous Heights and receiving instructions for this transformation in the process. Woman, however, perverted this gift and used this gift instead to bind man to herself. Instead of asking him to turn his gave upwards, he made him turn his gaze downwards towards earthly things for her own vanity and self-satisfaction. Women therefore are the key and the cause of the fall of the whole of humanity. Man too, instead of questioning this status quo, accepted it as a substitute for what is most sublime. He accepted the earthly love of the woman for the love for God in the fulfilment of his duties. No one forced him to do this. He did this with open eyes. He directed his volition away from what was to become an elixir of life for him. He accepted measly earthly love which is only the highest in the World of Gross Matter for that Love that God has always extended to him. He accepted it because he found pleasure in the stimulation of the sexual instinct which accompanied this earthly love. He therefore got more and more entangled in a deed web from which now he is so confounded that it is impossible to escape. He will indeed find it impossible to escape because he does not even know how he got himself into all this. He does not even know who he is or what he is. Unless help comes again to him in the Word, he will perish indeed under the whole mass of confusion. With the voluntary subjugation of himself, peace was already gone. Because of his turning away from the Laws of God which were meant to show him how he was to adjust himself to the Creation he finds himself, he will never be able to learn how to adjust himself. Not knowing how to adjust himself is like a blind man walking on a road he does not know. Due to his lack of adjustment, he must come into conflict with these Laws. He comes into conflict with himself. He does not understand himself or his surroundings. The faults that he carries about within him prevent him from seeing that he is the cause of his own problems and his failures. He blames his neighbours for his lack of success and consequently falls out with them. They in turn blame him for their lack of success. There we have the picture of the human being of today. Nobody ever accepts responsibility. It is always someone else’s fault. This has all resulted from the wrong use of the free will for evil. Peace can only now come by force through the Will of God. It has become clear to the Light that mankind will never voluntarily choose the road that leads to their own peace and happiness. Millennia which the Light had used in sending in prophets and even the Coming of the Son of God did not induce man to change. He carried on according to his old habits and according to his own opinions, disregarding the Laws of God. Peace can only come when this self-will that goes against the Laws of God is broken and completely shattered. This will come in the Judgment. Mankind cannot bring peace. They do not want to. It is convenient to continue in this way because it suits the powerful few who for thousands of years have sought to maintain the status quo because it benefits then. It has made them rich and powerful. It also suits the majority because these do not have to think for themselves. The spiritual indolence which allows them to sleep on and pay the priests for prayers to be said on their behalf instead of doing it themselves suits them just fine. The hard work that is required of those who want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven is too much for them. They would rather allow themselves to be shown an easy road which in fact does not exist at all than exert themselves for even one second. In the Millennium, peace will be enforced, not given as a gift. We will be forced to adjust our wills only to the Will of God, something that we should have voluntarily done thousands of years ago. That then is the way that peace can be brought about. Only God can do it not human beings. Who is Abd-ru-shin?See Abd-ru-shin.
Is Science the way to God?The way to God is through the use of the intuitive perception. Science at the present time does not believe in the existence of the intuitive perception. It does not even believe in the existence of Spirit, just that which is inseparably linked with God. Science remains hampered by tying itself too firmly to the perceptive capacity of the intellect which can never rise above the earthly conceptions of time and space. Because of this narrowness, it will never be able to understand spirituality, let alone God. God stands above these earthly concepts of time and space and in order to understand Him, the right tools will have to be used. Since science has chosen for the intellect as its tool for the investigation of God and since God stands beyond the confines within which this tool can really know anything, then it goes without saying that science will never be able to lead to God no matter how hard it tries. If it would acknowledge its error and choose the right tool, then it stands a much better chance. As it is however, it remains firmly hampered and will always remain so as long as it stubbornly refuses to acknowledge this error. It is therefore a waste of time to expect that perhaps sometime in the future with the way they are at the moment going about their investigations, they will be able to lead us all to spiritual heights. Strangely to say, religious leaders also at the present time depend on science to give the answers to the unsolved mysteries of life. It just goes to show that even these leaders lack a true understanding of what is at stake here. We are here talking about spirit, which is a word that mankind does not even begin to understand and until everyone from all sides acknowledge at last that they are truly ignorant as to what matters most, then there will be no success. In any case it is just a matter of time before most people begin to see into the hollow structure that the established leaders from all sides have built up and try to maintain. The answers they give to our questions are not sufficient for the human spirit and it is only a thin veil that still covers the truth that must now force its way through. What is addiction?Addiction to whatever substance is the propensity to use that substance without the ability of the addicted to control the impulse. It is as if the individual is not able to put up the will to overcome the urge to use the substance. Susceptibility to addiction varies among human beings and also the addictive potential varies among different substances. The individual as with all things usually starts just by tasting or trying out a particular substance. If that substance is to his liking, especially if it allows him to escape even momentarily from any earthly problem or pressure or if he just enjoys the experience with the product or the feeling that the substance brings about, he then continues to take more of the substance. This tasting or taking, like all things in Creation germinates and grows and this becomes an urge and then the urge if not controlled at this stage grows into a propensity or craving. It is at this point that other factors usually come in. In fact these other factors may come in earlier than this especially at the urge stage. These other factors are other souls in the Beyond with a similar propensity to take the same substance. These attach themselves to him and enjoy the substance through him. It is really at this stage that their collective will to make him continue in this direction may overcome his own, especially if he does not make a good deal of effort in asserting his own will to stop this urge. A whole horde of them may be attached to him and they continue to will him on in the taking of the substance. Their wills however are still not as strong as that of the earthman if he really wants to exert his own will to stop, but ever and ever again he does not use this his will and he drifts back into this abuse. This is the reason why it will always be possible to overcome substance abuse as soon as the mechanism is known to earthman so that he knows that he can actually overcome this problem through an ardent wish from within which can then give him that extra help that comes from the Light. The wills of those in the Beyond are not decisive for anything but they can only influence and it is earthman who will always be victorious as soon as he actually prays for help from the Light. A single ardent will in the upward direction can make an army of these souls disappear without a trace. But the prayer and the desire for help must first come from man himself. If he is still enjoying his experience with the substance and if he does not really want to change things it will be impossible for the Light to help. If however, he truly wishes to stop his addiction, no matter to what substance, his prayers and his wishes will unite with help from the Light. No other way is open to the human spirit than that of ardent prayer and desire for help. We have heard all talk about different methods but real help is always from the desire of the individual, united with the help from the Light, irrespective as to how the individual has learned to open his intuition. If through the disruption to his life that the addiction has brought, he is then led to see himself as he truly is and if he is then disgusted by this, his humility and the desire to change would be enough for help to come to him. It means that inwardly he has learned from all the experience and has changed himself. There are various social reasons for starting out on this road but this article is directed at the particular case where the individual truly wishes to stop the addiction. Knowledge is the key. If he realises the mechanism behind it and that his will is actually decisive, many will really make the effort in this direction. Another danger that is always present is idleness. This can lead many people to go back into their former faults. It must be avoided at all costs. We must realise the absolute fact of the importance of the free will. The earthly environment and circumstances that we find ourselves are entirely due to our own decisions. It is of no use to try to blame others for our addictions. The case of those who actually peddle drugs is an entirely different matter. The main reason for the lack of change is the individual's reluctance to accept responsibility and the fact that whatever earthly circumstances that he finds himself in, it is his own making that has led him there and if he accepts that fact in good faith he will always be led out of those circumstances. If, however, he blames others, he adds to his guilt and makes redemption difficult. Therefore, the knowledge that addiction can be overcome for those who truly want to overcome it is very important. One must however keep busy in other directions so that one's mind does not get constantly drawn back in the direction that leads to a relapse. With this desire for change, this urge or propensity that verges on the intuition gradually weakens because this desire for change will cut off the supply of power to it. The supply of power to the craving came from the desire of the individual for the substance. This has previously fed this propensity and has made it strong. But as soon as man makes a decision and sticks to this decision, then the power of this problem over him is broken. It is a long road and a difficult process but gradually he will be victorious as long as he does not ever again allow his will to weaken. This is then where getting occupied in other directions come in. It may involve the complete change in one's earthly circumstances, changing associates and so on. He must look into what has led him into this problem in the first place to try to understand it before he can move forward, otherwise he will relapse. It is was peer pressure, then he has to make the necessary changes. If it was his desire to escape from some pressure then he must realise that until he actually deals with that pressure or difficulty, there is no way out. Whatever the circumstances that has led him into the addiction, he has to try and understand and make the appropriate changes. What is being spiritual?Being spiritual means to take the spiritual as the basis of one's life. It means to understand that man is spirit and that the main purpose of his life is to develop his spiritual abilities. It is to realise that he is not here on earth for the sole purpose of acquiring material wealth and as such living only a materialistic life, but to live a life where he allows the spirit within him to come through in his activities. To be spiritual does not mean foregoing the joys of life but on the contrary one values every minute the more. Only the nature of the joys change. For those who have become spiritually alert then they have become aware of the vital importance of every single minute of their earth lives that they will fear frittering that time away in some sort of orgy which is harmful to both body and soul. They will engage in activities which will not only benefit them but also their environment. Being spiritual is to allow the spirit within us to have its way. Allow it to show itself. Hitherto we had kept it imprisoned within us by blocking it off through excessive intellectual activity which smothers the inner voice. We should listen more to our inner voices which is an implement of the spirit. Spheres of activity open up to those who have become spiritual that then the days are not long enough for all that they wish to accomplish. They are simply filled with joyful activity. The road to being spiritual however must start with our simple thoughts, words and deeds. Once we make the effort to always keep these pure then we are on the sure road to spiritual liberation. It is the most important step forwards and all else shall then be added by the Light. As long as we can exclusively concern ourselves with all that is good, then things will be made much easier. Being spiritual therefore in the first place means the acquisition of spiritual knowledge that shows us the way and what we must do to remain spiritual. It is spiritual knowledge and the adherence to the precepts of this knowledge that makes us spiritual. Jesus once gave this knowledge but this Message was not clearly preserved in the religion that developed from it. It is therefore imperative at the present moment for all those who want to be spiritual to be on the look out for spiritual knowledge. The knowledge that shows us exactly the path that we must take so that we can have the spiritual as the basis of our lives. The path that gives us confidence and conviction and that will never allow us to fall when our time of trial comes as they must in any case. It is this knowledge that shows us how to adjust ourselves so that we can receive of the power that comes from God for our salvation. From this it can be seen that it is really not possible to speak of salvation for the man of today without the right kind of spiritual knowledge. He simply will not know how to adjust himself. He will not be able to know how to free himself from sin because it is knowledge that opens one's eyes to the nature of sin and what can be done to overcome it. If we are truly on the lookout for spiritual knowledge, then we will be guided to find it. It lies in the Justice of the Laws of God that it will be so. When we find it however, the choice is left to the individual as to whether he accepts it or not. What the individual must realise is that the Truth as It comes from God will not accord with earthly human opinions. We therefore should not expect the Truth to correspond to popular religious opinions. It will never accord to what we had hitherto been taught in schools and Churches. It will therefore be a shock to most people and just because of this fact many reject It. Saying that it is unfamiliar and not what they had hitherto heard. We would like to be judges over the nature of Truth as It comes from God. What presumption lies in this fact alone. If we look more closely however, we will realise that this Truth sounds much more familiar to us that the unsteady teachings found in the religions. This Truth speaks to our spirits and since we are also a part of this Truth it should sound familiar to us. That is if we had not altogether buried all our spiritual attributes. The Bringer of this Truth does not give but demands. He demands that those who would like to be spiritual exert themselves to the utmost for the understanding of His Words. After all it is our salvation. God does not need us. But we do need God, however. Human beings after thousands of years of spiritual indolence are now for once being forced to make an effort as regards their survival. This time they alone must walk that path. The path that was once so frivolously rejected during the life of the Son of God. So be on the lookout for spiritual knowledge but do not presume to judge as to how God should reveal His Truth. It will never be adjusted to mankind's thinking. We should then be doubly alert when this Truth is brought across our paths. It will be through the Justice of God. We must make certain that we do not let ourselves down. How do we serve God?Service means work. Therefore to serve means to work. To work for God. How do we work for God, however? What tools do we need to do this work? Since man is spirit, then it is this spirit which should do the work. Man is not the brain contrary to popular opinions. It is this error that has made man work only with his brain. Since he thought that he was nothing but the physical body and the brain, then he had used this tool for all his activities. The result of this error we see before us. If man had made the efforts to realise that he is truly spirit and not the physical body, then he would have used the proper tools for his activities. So the very first step on the road to real service is to realise that as human beings we are of the spirit. Having understood this fact, it is then much easier for us to rouse this spirit for activity. To awaken it, since over millennia, we had allowed it to go to sleep within us. It is the activity of this spirit that leads to the service of God, since if given a free hand, it will do nothing other than that which lies in His Will. Therefore, if we want to serve the Creator, we must awaken our spirits. Once the spirit within us is awake, the service to God is automatic. The spirit within us will then act according to its nature which is to obey to the utmost the dictates of the Laws of God. Its activities which are expressed in our thoughts, words and deeds will then be completely adjusted to these Laws. That then is the true service to the Almighty: the activities of the spirit when completely adjusted to the Laws of God. In order for us to know how to rouse our spirits however, we need the knowledge that will guide us in this direction. We must look for spiritual knowledge; that which explains what man is, how Creation is and what man really needs to do for his salvation. It is this spiritual knowledge which we should be on the lookout for. It is not to be found in the religions of today because the Words of the Bringers of Truth in those religions were not purely preserved by those who became the custodians of these words. They made a religion out of these words and in order to preserve their influence often changed these words so as to make it easier for them to win adherents. This time, however, we personally must be on the lookout. It is our duty to search for the Truth and we will be guided to come across the Truth through the Justice of the Laws of the Creator. It will then be left to each person to make up his or her mind whether to adjust. This time however it is the last opportunity. This should make us doubly alert so as not to miss the last opportunity for our salvation. What does it mean to rouse or awaken the spirit? This question cannot be properly answered here but it should suffice to say that the first step on the road to awakening the spirit is to seek spiritual knowledge. It is this knowledge that will show the way to rousing the spirit. Rousing the spirit means making a great effort to dig deep into ourselves and discover the spirit within us, which has been buried for thousands of years. We awaken it thereby, making it work or making its activity visible on earth. For a long time already, the kind of activity we have seen on earth are those of the intellect. We have seen only intellectual works on earth. We have failed to develop a major part of our being, in fact the only part of our being. We have therefore been incomplete human beings. To be complete however, we must use our spirits. It is the only thing that is living. In fact, we are this spirit, but we have kept it suppressed through thousands of years of intellectual domination. The verb words rouse or awaken means that we have the ability to do this and that we are the ones to do it ourselves. Until we are able to rouse our spirits to activity, we can never be the human beings that please the Creator. We will never be able to adjust ourselves to His Laws because this adjustment requires a spirit which is alive and awake. This is therefore a most urgent call to all human beings to work as from now on with their spirits, and not the intellect. Intellectual works will never allow us to cross that boundary which brings us closer to the proximity of the Creator. Intellectual works lack life and as such cannot proceed to those regions where all is life. Spiritual works on the other hand bear life within and as such can lead us to the proximity of Life Itself which lies in God. Unless we have declared to ourselves that nothing else matters but the intellect and its works, then it is imperative that we rouse our spirits. The Light will never regard us as human beings until we are able to use our spirits. We should therefore make a great deal of effort to concern ourselves exclusively with all that is good but above all seek out the right spiritual knowledge. It will be impossible to go far in the Beyond with blind faith. We must become knowing. Our knowledge of Creation must not be deficient. All the questions that we allow to rise within us must not be glossed over by some kind of blind faith. This is very dangerous because then even our good works will not be sufficient to see us through. This is not an endorsement of the concept of "By faith alone", but the acknowledgement of the importance of a combination of spiritual works and spiritual knowledge. The works that we do for our various religious organizations have nothing to do with the works that Paul and Luther referred to. These two referred to the spiritual works that come automatically with the right kind of faith which has been built on the right kind of spiritual knowledge, but not blind faith. The works that we perform on behalf of religious organizations remain the obligations to those organizations but has nothing to do with our obligations to God. If these works are all that we had hitherto thought would lead us into the Kingdom of Heaven, then we may arrive in the Beyond only to find out otherwise. We should take care. Do people have the right to commit suicide? The simple answer is no. The reasons for suicide in most cases is the desire to escape from some sort of pain and experience. It is then thought that by physical death one can end it all and be relieved of this distress. Since the vast majority of people do not believe in life after death, it is then indeed assumed that as long as the physical body is destroyed, then that is the end of it all. However, these people err. The spiritual distress or otherwise that led to these people taking their lives will not be relieved at all after earthly death. If anything at all it will be intensified through the added guilt of this act. The experiences that led them to commit this act were only brought on by themselves and no one else. It is the way they have lived their lives through so many incarnations that has led to these experiences. We must all face up to this. We live amidst the consequences of all our actions and we indeed must reap and experience these consequences, no matter how terrible. Life on earth is a great opportunity given to every human being that allows him or her to improve his or her nature for the better. Experiences are lovingly brought our way to allow us to recognize ourselves as we truly are and consequently make the necessary adjustments. These opportunities must not be spawned. Through suicide, we forcibly bring a halt to the experiences and the lessons that have lovingly been offered to us. The human being has no jurisdiction over his life. He did not create himself and as such cannot claim ownership of his life. Because of this simple fact he cannot just end it as he sees fit. He may indeed be able to destroy his physical body but he is unable to destroy the spirit. Even after his earthly death brought about by this wilful act, he still continues to live. He either continues to suffer or continue to enjoy bliss. The choice is his. This tragedy has come to spread because of the ignorance surrounding the question: what am I? If we knew that man was not the physical body and if this knowledge had been spread among all mankind for thousands of years, then this aberration would never have developed. We would then have realised that indeed love stands behind all our experiences and that in the end, nothing on this earth, no guilt or suffering is more powerful than a human being who has already begun to look upwards to the Light.
